Training

The University of Richmond is committed to ensuring faculty, staff, students, and volunteers working with youth programs are informed and knowledgeable about the responsibility to observe and report instances of potential child abuse.

As part of that commitment, the University requires all adults working in youth programs to complete the United Educators Protecting Children: Identifying and Reporting Sexual Misconduct training course.

To access the course and begin training, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to learn.ue.org 
  2. Click "Register" to register as a new user.
  3. Enter the required information. In the "Branch Code" field, enter 697-89929.
  4. Once you are logged in, complete the training titled, Protecting Children: Identifying and Reporting Sexual Misconduct.
  5. You will also receive an email containing a link to your completion certificate.  Provide the completion certificate to your Program Director. 
  6. If you are unable to complete the course in one sitting, be sure to log back in using the link in Step 1.
