Policy

The purpose of the Safety and Protection of Minors Policy is to promote the safety and protection of children, fulfill our obligations as mandated by law, and provide the best possible experience for any child visiting the UR campus.

The policy applies to all programs and activities involving non-enrolled minors that are sponsored by the University or conducted by other organizations on the UR campus.  This includes, but is not exclusive to camps, clinics, workshops, conferences, research, and other educational activities. 

This policy does not apply to:

• Academic programs with admitted/enrolled minors
• Minors accompanied by parent, guardian, or chaperone
• Minors attending campus events open to the general public
